My thoughts are that if it doesn't line up with the Word of God then it can not be factual. What about the thought that the Grand Canyon was created due to global flood that also killed a lot of dinosaurs. What about the fact that man lived to be almost 1000 years before the flood. Think of the Anaconda whose life expectancy is between 10 to 30 years and the largest ever recorded was supposedly 28 feet long. Just imagine if this snake could live to be almost 1000 years old. How long or big could it get. If man lived to be over 900 years old, would it not seem that animals' life expanctancies were longer as well and could grow bigger. I have a hard time believing that animals ate other animals before sin entered this world. The wages of sin is death. Death entered this world through one man. Scripture also tells us that one day we will live as God intended before the fall of man and the lamb will be able to lay down with lion and a child can put his hand in a pit of vipers and not be bitten/killed. Science tries to tell us that the dinosaurs existed before man but how is that so if they killed for food since death didn't enter the world until after Adam sinned.

Just so you know though there are some awesome dinosaur books out their written by scientists who are Christian and don't teach the whole millions years theory. Our boys love them. We bought them at Christian bookstores.

Just some of my thoughs.

Seems to me the "facts" have to do with how you look at the question. Obviously, who's paying matters.

Yeah, I didn't even go into the contradictory elements of scientists claims, but you are right. Each can state their own "facts" and they can be completely at odds with one another.

And what about the fact that you can go out and find two studies done on any one topic claiming fact that completely disagree with one another?
